The Family Plan
Most orchards are located on Hanford sandy loam Class 1 soils This type of soil is widely regarded to be the “Highest Quality” for growing peaches, plums, nectarines, other types of stone fruit and table grapes.
Most orchards are located within seven miles of the packing facilities, which results in less bruising to the fruit.
We use short straight packing lines with soft drops which help in eliminating some of the extra touches that can cause bruising and mechanical damage to the fruit. Another feature to our
packing line is that all our fruit is optically sized to insure consistent uniformity.
We are one of a few major packing facilities in the San Joaquin Valley to
hand pack every box. If the packer doesn’t see a problem, it is further
inspected by our quality control personnel assuring each box meets the highest
standard of quality.
